Trending: Quilts with Curves at QuiltCon

March 18, 2022

Do you quilt with curves? A lot of QuiltCon quilts incorporated curves into the design this year. Last week I posted about the use of circles in QuiltCon quilts. Originally I planned to incorporate circles and curves into a single post, but it quickly became apparent that there were too many of each for one post.

Below is a sampling of curved quilts in the judged portion of this year’s show. Most of the curves are pieced and/or improv pieced, but there is appliqué included in some. If you quilt with curves, what is your favorite curve technique?

NONE OF THE QUILTS PICTURED IN THIS POST ARE MY WORK! Each work is labeled with the maker and their Instagram handle when available. These are in no particular order, and this post may take longer than usual to load because there are so many fun quilts to share!
